Born and raised in Hsinchu, moved to Taipei for further studies after graduating from junior high school. Later graduated from the Department of Law at National Taiwan University. In the same year, received a scholarship from the Sihong Education Foundation and pursued a Master’s and Doctorate in Law at the University of Tokyo.
During studies, was selected as a Tokyo University Advanced Business Law International Excellent Graduate School Fellow, a recipient of the Atsumi International Scholarship Foundation, and a Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (JSPS) Special Research Fellow (DC2).
After obtaining a Ph.D., worked as a research assistant at the Japan Institute for Labour Policy and Training (JILPT), an independent administrative institution.
Research focuses on civil property law and labor law, with a recent emphasis on interdisciplinary issues between labor law and competition law. With a keen interest in integrating traditional legal studies with emerging interdisciplinary topics, committed to exploring the application and development of law in modern society.
