Introduction

Receiving his D.C.L. from McGill University, Canada, in 1998, Dr. Chris Chu-Cheng Huang is currently a full time professor of the ILST, NTHU. His is specialized in air and space law, public and private international law, property law, torts, IP licensing and transaction, and indigenous laws.

Having conducted numerous joint research and adjunct teaching programmes internationally, he had been a NSC-IIAS joint visiting scholar sitting at the Netherlands, and a visiting researcher at School of Law, Hokkaido University, Japan. He was also invited to give addresses and intensive lectures on the issues of Taiwanese indigenous laws and human rights in Hiroshima University, Hokkaido University of Japan and various international institutes. Currently he is an editorial board member of the Queen Mary Journal of Intellectual Property, an official journal published by Queen Mary Intellectual Property Research Institute, University of London.

Dr. Huang is always enthusiastic on the progression of human rights and international law in Taiwan. He is a council member and the chief of the International Law Committee of the Taiwan Law Society. Besides, he is a board member of the China Aviation Development Foundation and the chairman of the Foundation for International Exchange and Cultural Development

At NTHU, his teaching covers the fields of public international law, private international law, air and space law, property, torts, and indigenous laws.
